What you will be doing in this role?
As part of a collaborative, cross‑functional engineering squad, you will:
- Design and build robust, scalable software solutions from user stories and business requirements
- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Analysts to deliver high‑quality features
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies
- Help improve team performance, quality, and delivery standards
- Provide support and troubleshooting for critical production issues when needed
- Ensure all solutions align with wider architectural and engineering standards
What the day to day will look like:
- You’ll be embedded in a modern engineering environment where collaboration is key:
- Work in agile squads with shared ownership of delivery
- Partner with colleagues across multiple teams to deliver meaningful outcomes
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure technology meets real user needs
What skills they want you to bring:
- Experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC or similar technologies
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices
- SQL experience
- React.js would be a ‘nice to have’ but not essential
- Experience working in agile environments
- Knowledge of test‑driven development (TDD)
What is on offer to you?
- Hybrid working up to 2 days a week on site (London or Manchester)
- Salary dependant on experience and location – Circa £45,000 – £55,000
- 28 days holiday + Bank holidays
