We are currently recruiting for a Services Manager on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to manage our supported housing project at Mortimer House, Exeter.
We are seeking a manager who either has experience of working within a supported housing project or has worked in a housing management environment. You will be part of an out of hours on-call support rota (approximately one week in every 16 weeks) and will receive an additional payment (currently £150 per week).
Mortimer House is one of our Housing Plus projects where each resident is supported for up to 2 years to develop the skills to understand and maintain their tenancy before being supported to move on to their permanent accommodation.
Duties include
- Providing effective leadership and guidance to our staff and clients within the project
- Promoting continual review and improvement of services
- Fostering hope and creating conditions in which people can be enabled to live independently, be empowered and thrive
- Being responsible for the performance, management and development of housing management including monitoring and managing charge accounts and representing the organisation at Court (this forms a large part of the role and a proven track record in this area would be an advantage)
