We excited to offer an opportunity for a Data Analyst to join B&M Retail on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, supporting a high-profile transformation programme. This is a pivotal role where you will collect, process, and analyse data to inform strategic business decisions and drive meaningful change across the organisation. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Senior Management, you will provide actionable insights that support B&M’s transformation objectives. Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, analyse, and visualise data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights that support business decisions and transformation objectives.
- Translate complex analysis into clear reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality assurance, and adherence to change management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide ad‑hoc analytical support.
- Maintain documentation and continuously improve data processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analysis with strong statistical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python or R.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant certifications in data analysis would be beneficial.
- Experience within retail or large-scale transformation programmes would be highly desirable.
