In this role, you will optimise Azure AKS and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters, ensuring uptime, security, scalability and performance across secure cloud environments. You will take ownership of infrastructure defined in Terraform, using GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and maintain consistency across environments. Working closely with stakeholders, you will proactively identify improvements, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous hardening and resilience of cloud-based systems. You will also participate in an on-call rota, supporting critical systems and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. With the backing of experienced colleagues, you will help evolve our protective monitoring capability while maintaining the highest operational standards.
You will bring hands‑on experience in Linux‑based operational environments and practical expertise managing Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure with Terraform. You should be comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud‑based systems in Azure and AWS, and troubleshooting complex technical issues in secure environments.
