CONDUCTR is expanding its Quality Assurance capability and is looking for a motivated QA Tester to help ensure the quality of a diverse range of interactive experiences, digital products, and bespoke installations. This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who has a strong foundation in testing fundamentals and is keen to grow their skills within a collaborative, fast‑paced, and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms.
- Log, track, and verify defects using Jira.
- Maintain clear and structured test documentation in Confluence.
- Contribute to release testing including smoke tests, regression testing, UAT, functional and non‑functional checks.
- Use tools such as TestRail or QASE to record and manage test cases.
- Work hands‑on in physical testing environments where needed including interactive tech, hardware setups, and on‑site devices.
- Collaborate with software, production, and QA team members to ensure quality is upheld throughout the SDLC.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities across different projects and products.
- Manage your own workload effectively, communicating risk or blockers early.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in a QA or software testing role.
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira for bug reporting and Confluence for documentation.
- Ability to create, maintain, and execute test plans and structured test cases.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and standard testing processes.
- Experience with TestRail or QASE or similar test management tools.
- Solid IT competency including handling zip files, using TeamViewer, and basic understanding of JSON files.
- Knowledge of testing approaches such as smoke testing, regression testing, UAT, and functional and non‑functional testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
- Adaptability in a fast‑moving environment.
- High energy and focus when carrying out hands‑on or practical testing.
- Proactive attitude and ability to manage your own tasks independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with interactive tech, hardware‑based systems, or experiential installations.
- Exposure to Unity, mobile apps, or web‑based testing.
- Familiarity with automation concepts or CI/CD environments.
