Trade Systems Analyst

BAT is evolving at pace into a global multi‑category business and is looking for a Trade Systems Analyst to support the smooth operation, optimization and continuous improvement of our trade systems landscape, including Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx and Salesforce.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the day‑to‑day management and maintenance of key trade systems such as Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx and Salesforce.
• Assisting with the setup and execution of trade campaigns by providing system and data support.
• Helping configure and update campaign objectives within Anaplan and Salesforce.
• Supporting the testing, rollout and adoption of new tools, functionalities and system enhancements.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support integration activities.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of trade systems and related processes.
• Troubleshooting system issues and ensuring databases and reporting outputs remain accurate and up to date.
• Supporting CRM reviews and preparing recommendations for improvements.
• Providing reporting and operational support to help drive effective fieldforce and sales execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trade systems.
• Experience with Power BI and reporting.
• BSc degree in a quantitative field (MSc preferred).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage daily system issues with the fieldforce.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Ability to work independently, showing a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different departments and maintain relationships with external suppliers.
• A change‑oriented and commercially aware mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture and drive improvement.
• Experience with Anaplan or Alteryx is beneficial.
