We are one of only five companies globally achieving series production in metal AM, serving aerospace, defence, semiconductor, and energy customers from a single vertically integrated facility. We hold AS9100D certification.

Key Responsibilities
Programming, setting and operating 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines. As well as setting and operating CNC Turning Centres producing high end components to tight tolerances mainly within the Aerospace, Defence and Automotive industries. This job would suit a competent programme/setter of 4 & 5 axis CNC machines & Turning Centre CNC machines.
- Programming/setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.
- Programming/setting and operating CNC Turning Centres.
- Experienced in Edgecam & Vericut (not essential but beneficial).
- Experienced with Heidenhain & Fanuc (not essential but beneficial).
- Tool life management and sister tooling.
- Set up and run one off developments and associated batches.
- Assist in the definition of manufacturing and equipment requirements.
- Provide support for the introduction of new facilities and equipment.
- Assist and advise on the implementation and reporting of key projects and/or continuous improvement programmes, within a defined area.
- Have a good eye for detail with all work carried out.
- Work to the highest standard of Quality.
- Manage and run multiple machines during shifts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Manufacturing knowledge of Hard Metal finishing/machining.
- Worked in an organisation that has experienced change.
- English (business fluent) – other languages beneficial.
- Able to work with cross functional teams that will typically include operations, design engineering, commercial, procurement, and quality.
- Capable of reading drawings and an understanding of General Dimensions and Tolerances.
- The use and understanding of tool setting and tool probing.
- Strong minded and committed, focussed on delivery, must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Experienced in Edgecam & Vericut (not essential but beneficial).
- Ability to work as a part of a team or in isolation.
- Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable.
- Experience in programming/setting operating 4 and 5 axis CNC machines.
What We're Looking For
Experience working practice of delivering aerospace/automotive metal components within a factory environment
Working to tight deadlines within a dynamic/busy environment.
Experienced toolmaker/ apprentice trained/ skilled CNC operator/ toolmaker skills.
Ability to set and run 4 and/or 5 axis machines.
Experience of running probing programmes and setting datums and work plane alignment using a touch probe.
Experience of machining castings (not essential but beneficial).

- Salary of £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
