Investment Analyst
We’re looking for an Investment Analyst to join our Core Capital Portfolio Management team within LGAS. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse, multi‑asset portfolio spanning public and private markets, supporting long‑term institutional retirement solutions. You’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive environment where different perspectives are valued, and where you can develop your analytical, technical and stakeholder engagement skills while contributing to meaningful investment outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing portfolio and fund performance, exposures, risks and liquidity against targets and mandates
- Managing and assuring portfolio, fund and position data quality through reconciliation and robust controls
- Monitoring total portfolio metrics and contributing to scenario and positioning discussions
- Supporting the assessment, recommendation and execution of new investments alongside internal partners
- Monitoring liquidity and cashflow forecasts and supporting agreed liquidity actions
- Partnering with Finance to support monthly processes, forecasts, business planning and management information
- Preparing analysis and materials to support investment monitoring forums and governance decisions
- Coordinating trade instructions and associated operational and documentation activities
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in investment analysis, portfolio reporting or investment operations within an asset management, insurance or pensions environment
- A good understanding of portfolio and fund analytics, including performance, risk and liquidity
- Knowledge of fund structures, cashflows and valuation concepts, with exposure to private markets being beneficial
- Strong data skills with experience in reconciliation, controls and data management
- An interest in process improvement and using technology to enhance efficiency and insight
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce clear, insightful management information
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with a range of stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver to deadlines
