Credit Controller
Felixstowe (Office-Based, 5 Days per Week)
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established business based in Felixstowe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing a high-volume ledger of approximately 200 customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a large sales ledger of around 200 customer accounts
- Proactively chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Allocate incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Resolve customer queries and disputes efficiently to ensure prompt payment
- Produce aged debt reports and provide regular updates to management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support cash collection
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role is essential
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise effectively
