Senior Manager - Asset Liability Manager
Salary - National: Circa £100,000 London: Circa £120,000

The technical shared service in ALM & Hedging is looking for a specialist Senior Manager to join the Asset Liability Management (ALM) team. This would suit someone with a keen interest in the financial markets, the use of derivatives to manage risks and knowledge of UK Life insurance propositions.
A bit about the job:
ALM & Hedging is a Technical Shared Service within the Group Centre leveraging the specialist skills and expertise in asset-liability management and financial risk management. The financial decisions associated with the ALM position can make a big difference to our customers.
This role will primarily support the Insurance Wealth & Retirement (IWR) business across the UK and Ireland, with a focus on the ALM for several With-Profits funds (WPFs). You’ll be responsible for reviewing the appropriateness of ALM & Hedging strategies, taking proposed changes through governance and monitoring the performance of the strategies; coordinating rebalances if the positions move out of agreed tolerances. You’ll also develop relationships with peers within Group Capital, across IWR Finance and Risk. In addition, you’ll be interacting with Aviva Investors on a regular basis.
