We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated ACCA Qualified Accountant to join our client's small Accountancy practice in Enfield, North London.

As an ACCA Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of accounting services to our clients, including tax preparation, and financial reporting. You will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients
  • Provide tax planning and advice to clients
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and build strong relationships with them
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Train and mentor junior staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends

Requirements:

  • ACCA fully qualified with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
  • Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients is preferred
  • Competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year
  • Full-time permanent position with a 35-hour work week
