A fantastic opportunity to take on a senior estates and asset management position, supporting the head of service and playing a key role in the management of a diverse non‑housing property portfolio. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on estate management and offers significant autonomy and influence.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the estates management function
- Managing lease events, property transactions and commercial estate matters
- Ensuring statutory compliance across council‑owned assets
- Managing and overseeing external contractors and consultantsMaintaining and developing the property asset management database
- Preparing reports and business cases for senior management and committees
- Providing property advice to senior stakeholders
- Line managing and developing the estates and asset management team
- Deputising for the head of service when required
- Undertaking property inspections and surveys as necessary
What They're Looking For
- MRICS (or equivalent professional qualification)
- Strong background in Estates / Asset Management
- Experience managing teams and external consultants
- Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded, organised and proactive
- Full UK driving licence
Package & Details
- Salary: £55,000
- Full‑time role (37 hours per week)
- Office‑based with some flexibility
