We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Trainee Bulk Analyst to join our asbestos laboratory team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background or interest in science and laboratory testing, along with attention to detail, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Undertaking training towards BOHS P401 asbestos bulk analysis qualification
  • Preparing and analysing bulk asbestos samples in line with HSG248
  • Maintaining high standards of laboratory safety, quality and compliance and working as part of functional lab team

Qualifications

To be a successful Trainee Bulk Analyst, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • GCSEs including science and maths
  • Strong IT, communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to training and self-development
