This is an exciting time to be part of the Acute Stroke/Older adult medicine service in NHS Highland. We now have an opportunity for a highly motivated registered nurse to work with us as the service evolves. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in stroke and medicine for the elderly care, have excellent communication and organisational skills and have previous knowledge and experience caring for stroke patients although in-house training will be provided. This post is also suitable for nurses who have qualified in 2025.

Working as part of our nursing team will involve day and night shifts to meet the needs of the service. • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
