Mental Health Practitioner (Hounslow MHST)

Overview

Hounslow CAMHS Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is seeking to recruit a Mental Health Practitioner to work within our schools-based early intervention mental health team on a fixed-term 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Embed the Whole School Approach (WSA) by co‑facilitating workshops for parents and staff.
• Deliver targeted and universal groups to primary and secondary school pupils.
• Provide evidence‑based interventions to address mental health needs.
• Support service evaluations and audits of the interventions offered within the team.
• Prepare data for quarterly data submissions.
• Participate in service development, support the roll‑out of new approaches and monitor impact.
• Receive regular supervision within the team and ensure adherence to professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
