What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure all NHS and private prescriptions received are clinically checked for dosage accuracy and patient safety
  • Ensure all prescription‑related queries are communicated to customer service within agreed SLAs
  • Ensure responses from customer service are received within agreed SLAs to maintain patient safety
  • Provide advice to patients on adverse effects, interactions, and minor ailments where appropriate
  • Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional, and company requirements
  • Complete a range of additional pharmacist tasks, including reviewing and managing dispensing incidents
  • Meet individual and team targets to support broader business objectives
  • Work collaboratively with key teams across the business, including customer service, purchasing, operations, and clinical teams
  • Where required, assume the role of Responsible Pharmacist at the dispensing facility and support the dispensary team with queries

Who are we looking for

  • GPhC‑registered with a degree in Pharmacy and proven experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Ideally, experience working in a commercial or community pharmacy environment
  • Experience working in a pressured environment and delivering against tight deadlines
  • Experience operating in an environment where accuracy is critical
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders, contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment to achieve shared objectives
