This is a superb opportunity for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon (minimum of 3 years qualified) to join a highly regarded independent veterinary practice near Cardiff. The practice is very well established with a forward‑thinking, close‑knit and supportive team of experienced vets, RVNs and admin staff.
A fiercely independent practice that has been operating for more than 30 years within beautiful South Wales. It is run by a team that puts compassion at the heart of everything they do, with exceptional care to deliver the best service possible. An approachable, close‑knit group of vets, RVNs and a wonderful reception staff give the practice a real family feel. The practice continually invests in its facilities to create a great base for future expansion and enjoys excellent staff retention.
A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a valid license to practice in the UK and a minimum of 3 years qualified. The role focuses mainly on consults, medicine and imaging rather than advanced surgery. Full or part‑time hours are available, with a standard rota of 38 hours per week over 4 days and a fixed day off. You will deliver 15‑minute consultations and work within a schedule that offers generous work‑life balance: no nights, out‑of‑hours or weekends.
