Role Overview
You will manage and oversee pharmacy operations, lead a team of assistants and technicians, and deliver both NHS and private services to the community. The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a commitment to providing high‑quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise pharmacy assistants, technicians, and dispensers
- Manage and review care plans, ensuring compliance with NHS Pharmacy First services
- Provide enhanced services (NMS accreditation required; additional accreditations beneficial)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local GP surgeries
- Promote both NHS and private services to the wider community
- Demonstrate operational and business acumen to grow the pharmacy’s services
- Encourage team learning and professional development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pharmacist
- NMS accreditation
- Ability to provide NHS Pharmacy First services
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
