Job Description:

Fixed Term Post for a 12 month period to cover Maternity Leave.Your role will be based in Osprey House but you will have opportunities to work with various teams across the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service, providing and promoting care within a variety of settings. You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills, including the ability to offer interventions, harm reduction advice and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population. You will be required to carry out assessments, develop and implement treatment plans as well as offer supervision and support to junior staff within the team. Osprey House operates a 12.5‑hour shift pattern over Monday to Friday.

You should possess good interpersonal skills as this post requires you to work as part of a wider multi‑disciplinary team. A full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes is required.

Additional Information For Candidates

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
