Senior Motion Designer

As a Senior Motion Designer at TCS Interactive, you will be a key creative contributor within the product design organisation, responsible for defining, elevating, and consistently delivering best‑in‑class motion experiences across our digital products.

You will work in close partnership with Product Design Leads, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, and wider stakeholders to shape motion design from early concept through to final implementation. This role goes beyond execution you will be expected to influence design direction, champion motion as a core part of the product experience, and help set quality standards across the team.

You will bring a strong point of view on motion, interaction, and storytelling, alongside a deep understanding of how animation enhances usability, clarity, and emotional engagement. Staying informed of emerging trends, tools, and techniques, you will help ensure our work remains modern, relevant, and industry‑leading.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Motion Designer, you will:

• Lead the creation of high‑quality, implementation‑ready motion design across UI animations, product experiences, sizzle reels, presentations, and digital content
• Own motion design from concept to delivery, translating abstract ideas, product requirements, and wireframes into clear, engaging motion solutions
• Shape and influence motion design strategy, ensuring animation consistently supports user needs, product goals, and brand vision
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers using tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to integrate motion seamlessly into design workflows
• Partner with engineering teams to validate feasibility, performance, and technical execution of motion design solutions
• Apply strong storytelling principles through storyboarding, video editing, and narrative thinking to elevate product communication
• Act as a trusted senior voice, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to other designers where appropriate
• Champion high standards of craft, consistency, and attention to detail across all motion outputs
• Proactively manage priorities, balance multiple workstreams, and deliver high‑quality work to tight deadlines

Skills and Experience

You will be an experienced Senior Motion Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating both creative excellence and strategic thinking. You will bring:

• Proven experience working as a Motion Designer within an agency, consultancy, or product‑led design environment, with demonstrable senior‑level impact
• Advanced expertise in Adobe After Effects CC, including complex animation, compositing, and motion systems
• Strong proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and Audition
• A solid grounding in graphic design, typography, motion principles, and visual storytelling
• Experience designing motion for digital products, UI systems, and multi‑platform experiences
• Working knowledge of Cinema 4D (desirable but not essential)
• Confidence articulating design rationale and motion principles to designers, engineers, and senior stakeholders
• The ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and levels of design maturity
