We’re seeking a senior Corporate Communications & PR Lead to protect and enhance the reputation of a major UK telecoms infrastructure organisation.
This is a high‑profile role where you’ll shape corporate narrative, manage reputational risk, and lead engagement across media, government, communities, and industry stakeholders.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you will:
- Lead corporate affairs, PR, and external communications strategy
- Own issues management and crisis communications
- Act as a trusted advisor to the C‑suite on reputational risk
- Oversee internal communications and community engagement
- Manage PR agencies and key external partners
Key Focus Areas
- Protect and strengthen corporate reputation in a complex, high‑scrutiny environment
- Lead stakeholder engagement with media, local authorities, MPs, and community groups
- Manage communications around sensitive infrastructure delivery and public concerns
- Drive thought leadership across sustainability, digital inclusion, and social impact
- Ensure clear governance, consistency, and high‑quality messaging
About You
- Proven leader in Corporate Communications / PR / Corporate Affairs
- Strong telecoms or infrastructure sector experience (essential)
- Expertise in crisis communications and issues management
- Experience working with government and public sector stakeholders
- Confident advising senior leadership and operating under pressure
