Role Purpose
Provide a professional repair to a variety of hardware and peripherals within SCC Repair Centre.
Security clearance or willingness to apply will be required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair devices such as but not limited to PCs, laptops, printers, retail equipment etc.
- Repair devices at component level
- Support other departments as and when required
- Update relevant business systems to the required standards and in line with agreed processes
- Be compliant with management system policies, company policies & guidelines and take responsibility for health & safety in the workplace
- Be approachable and accepting of training requirements in relation to the role and operation
- Maintain the skills and knowledge required within the team to perform the role to the required standard
- Handle equipment of varying weights and sizes in line with manual handling guidelines and training provided
- Embrace new technologies and adapt to change
- Undertake health and safety activities commensurate with post and or SCC Group Health and Safety Policy
- Assist the management teams in the daily running of the operation, through the above and any other duties as necessary
Skills And Experience
- Experience in electronics repair or technical maintenance environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
- Accreditations to repair Tier 1 product repairs e.g. HP/Lenovo & Dell
- Ability to identify and resolve faults using standard diagnostic tools
- Careful and precise handling of equipment to ensure high quality repairs
