This role is about running a food factory area properly. That means:

• Making sure production targets are hit without cutting corners.
• Keeping audits and standards tight, so the technical team don't have kittens.
• Planning labour (yes, that includes agency staff) so the numbers add up.
• Leading your team - coaching, motivating, and occasionally having the tough conversations.
• Spotting ways to make things run smoother, faster, cheaper.

What you'll need:

• Experience managing in food production.
• A track record of getting results through people.
• Strong technical knowledge and a grasp of compliance.
• Food Safety and IOSH qualifications would be a big plus.
