Overview


Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Birmingham – £50,000


Choice of 4 on/4 off days or 4 on/4 off days and nights – (£52,000)


On site gym – £20 inclusive of free personal trainer


24 days holiday + bank holidays

They are looking for a mechanically biased maintenance engineer, not a superstar (yet!) they will provide an unbeatable training including electrical up-skilling. The Engineering Manager has been there since his apprenticeship and worked his way up so will show you the ropes and help follow the same career path if you want it.

Experience required for the mechanical maintenance engineer



  • Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served in a mechanical discipline

  • Is advantageous, this can be through the military (ex-forces)

  • At least 4 years experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery – any heavy industry is advantageous but not a deal breaker

  • Mechanically competent – hydraulics/pneumatics, bearings, straps, belts, chains etc.

  • Any mechanical maintenance engineer from manufacturing or ex-forces welcome to apply FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, foundry, brick, distribution, automotive, metals, RAF, Navy, army, military, etc.
