Area Sales Manager – Industrial Weighing Equipment
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to promote and sell our range of weighing equipment and maintenance contracts to manufacturing, logistics, engineering, chemical, food, and recycling industries across Scotland.
Location
Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh area central belt). Manage your own diary and work from home when not visiting clients.
Salary
Basic salary around £40k with OTE of approximately £60k, plus a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop, and 25 days annual leave.
Responsibilities
- Field-based sales, promoting & selling our full range of weighing equipment and maintenance contracts.
Qualifications
- Technically competent and able to specify systems & solutions from simple to complex.
- Minimum of 2 years in Field Sales, Area Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager roles.
- Relevant engineering and commercial qualifications and a proven sales track record.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven individual who consistently achieves sales targets.
- Experience managing a sales territory with minimal supervision.
- Capability to manage and grow existing client accounts, develop dormant clients, and create new business opportunities across all industrial sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships at all levels.
