Job Description:

Doris Group UK are looking for a Junior Project Services Engineer. As a leader in Engineering, advisory and project management for energy, the mission is to make conventional energies cleaner and make renewable and new energies possible. As a Junior Project Services Engineer, you’ll support project delivery by providing essential administrative and project controls support from proposal through to closeout.

With a strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation, we work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and efficient power and control systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team shaping the future of energy systems, particularly within the renewable and offshore wind space.

What you’ll do

  • Support project setup, planning, and closeout activities.
  • Assist Project Managers and the engineering team with coordination tasks.
  • Track project progress and deliverables, capturing updates and earned value data.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Assist with cost control, invoicing, reporting, and KPI tracking.
  • Maintain schedules, reports, registers, and project data for reporting purposes.
  • Support resource tracking and project controls activities.
  • Manage project documentation, including receipt, registration, distribution, and tracking.
  • Allocate document and drawing numbers and perform quality checks for consistency.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with an interest in project delivery and controls. You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycles and project controls principles
  • Awareness of planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 (desirable)
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to work with data
