Electrical Project Manager

Our client, a reputable M & E contractor, is looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager due to continued success and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and successful business.

Working on a new build educational development, the role is client facing and involves overseeing subcontract companies and some direct labour.

The position pays up to £300 / £350 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

Suitable applicants will have worked as an Electrical Project Manager previously and have experience delivering electrical packages on developments within the commercial new build sector.

Applicant Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience and trade qualifications
• Previous successful experience on electrical projects ranging from £50K to £1.5 million in the commercial sector
• Hold a driving licence
• Work under own initiative, be self‑motivated and a good team player
• Hold a CSCS Card
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word

Responsibilities / Duties

• Meet with clients and design teams, liaise with design teams (architects & consultants)
• Carry out site visits and surveys, prepare reports
• Manage site labour and subcontractors
• Manage contract costs and variations including procurement
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Travel as required; work from main office and site as needed
