Job Details
- Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
- Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co‑ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.
Qualifications / Experience
- Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3).
- Previous experience within a fast‑paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).
- Strong Electrical maintenance fault‑finding capabilities.
- Basic PLC fault‑finding experience.
- Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves.
- Competent in safe working procedures.
