Maintenance Engineer - Days

Overview

Do you want to join a business that are designing and producing the future? Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer that has a background in preventative and reactive maintenance within a medium sized business?

Role

Your primary focus within the role is to ensure the reliability, safe and efficient operations of all production equipment that includes CNC machinery and facility infrastructure. You' ll support continuous production across the site by conducting all maintenance activities, troubleshooting machine faults and implement improvements that will enable minimising downtime across the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Carry out corrective maintenance, part replacement and adjustments to maintain precision and repeatability.
• Monitor machine performance, patterns and breakdown trends to minimise downtime.
• Support with process projects, machine upgrades and tooling improvements
• Work closely with production to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs and track spare parts.
• Manage contractors when on site and ensure that RAM's are in place.
• Carry out weekly fire alarm checks

Desirables (Qualifications)

• Experience of working within a precision engineering, machining or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machinery
• Experience in TPM, lean manufacturing or continuous improvement activities.

Benefits

In return you will work a standard day shift pattern with an early finish on Fridays (2:30pm). A starting salary of £40,000+ DOE, Company pension 5%, Health care plan and additional company benefits.
