Fire & Security Service Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + On Call (£50,000 - £60,000 OTE)
The Opportunity
We're supporting a growing Fire & Security business delivering service and maintenance across commercial sites nationwide. They are now looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join the team, working across a mix of fire alarms and electronic security systems. This is a solid, long‑term role with strong earning potential and clear progression.
The Role
A Monday to Friday position focused on service, maintenance and fault finding, working across a variety of commercial environments. There is also an on‑call rota (1 in 6), with additional pay.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
- Servicing CCTV, access control and intruder systems
- Fault finding and carrying out small remedial works
- Attending commercial client sites
- Occasional travel and nights away when required
What We're Looking For
- Experience servicing fire and/or security systems
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Willing to be part of an on‑call rota
- Full UK driving licence
What's On Offer
- £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary
- £50,000 - £60,000 OTE with overtime and on‑call
- Time and a half after 8 hours per day
- Paid travel time minus 30 minutes each way
- On‑call rota 1 in 6 with additional pay
