The Opportunity

We’re supporting a growing Fire & Security business delivering service and maintenance across commercial sites nationwide. They are now looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join the team, working across a mix of fire alarms and electronic security systems. This is a solid, long‑term role with strong earning potential and clear progression.

The Role

A Monday to Friday position focused on service, maintenance and fault finding, working across a variety of commercial environments. There is also an on‑call rota (1 in 6), with additional pay.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
• Servicing CCTV, access control and intruder systems
• Fault finding and carrying out small remedial works
• Attending commercial client sites
• Occasional travel and nights away when required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience servicing fire and/or security systems
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Willing to be part of an on‑call rota
• Full UK driving licence

What’s On Offer

• £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary
• £50,000 – £60,000 OTE with overtime and on‑call
• Time and a half after 8 hours per day
• Paid travel time minus 30 minutes each way
• On‑call rota 1 in 6 with additional pay
