Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits for high‑integrity applications.
- Analyse, model, and evaluate electronic circuit performance.
- Generate and refine system‑level and component‑level requirements.
- Produce accurate schematic designs and documentation.
- Provide guidance on PCB layout and perform layout reviews.
- Support a variety of engineering tasks across projects and programmes.
- Participate in technical reviews, internal meetings, and customer discussions.
- Engage directly with customers to address technical and project-related topics.
- Document all work in accordance with internal processes and quality standards.
Essential
Qualifications / skills required
- HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Quick learner with adaptable, flexible working style.
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Proficient in analogue and digital circuit design.
- Experience with schematic capture and drawing review.
- Circuit simulation experience.
- Wiring definition and documentation experience.
- Understanding of PCB layout supervision and design considerations.
- Eligibility to obtain full SC security clearance.
Desirable
- Experience with EMC design.
- Environmental qualification experience.
- Existing SC security clearance.
- Experience with Altium Designer.
- Defence, aerospace, or other safety‑critical industry background.
- Understanding of reliability engineering (MTBF analysis, derating, DFMEA).
