Gas Service and Repair Engineer
Birmingham | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | £33,591.83 per annum
About the role
Due to continual growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Gas Engineer to join our in‑house team based in Birmingham. Within the role you will need to be familiar with a wide range of gas appliances and systems to ensure they are working efficiently in line with manufacturer’s guidelines.
What you’ll be doing
The main aspect of the role is to carry out gas servicing, repairs and installations to the organisation’s property stock, ensuring that all work is carried out to gas safety standards and that customers receive a high‑quality service, working fully as part of a 24‑hour service.
Who we’re looking for?
- Gas Safe Registered covering the following categories
- Extensive experience in domestic service and repair to central heating systems and other appliances, and holding current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1
- Awareness of precautionary measures to take whilst undertaking gas maintenance repairs
- Full UK clean driving licence and own tools
- Working knowledge of gas legislation relevant to the service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to use technology effectively (PDA)
- Excellent customer service skills
