Job Description:

Role Purpose (Job Profile):

To assemble, service and sign-off hydraulic assembliesrequiredfor the running of race, test, PR and customer cars and rigs.

Main Duties:

  • Build, strip and service WF1 and customerHydrauliccomponents,including but not limited to, PAS, BBW&Dampersto a consistent high standard of competitiveness,safetyand reliability, ensuring all assemblies conform to current Engineering and Manufacturing policies and procedures

  • Carrying out duties as instructed by theHydraulicAssembly Team leader as per the daily work List

  • Critically evaluate all components during assembly and disassembly, ensuring their integrity and reporting all faults

  • Operate pass-off and test rigs asrequired

  • Highlight any assembly/quality issues to the Team leader or relevant design authority

  • Ensure all assemblies are built to deadlines

  • Ensure that all build andcomponentinformation is recorded andmaintainedasrequiredin relevant systems

  • Ensure the Component Assembly work environment and equipment ismaintainedto the highest standards of tidiness,presentationand safety

  • Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements.

  • Effective communication Skills with the ability to share technical information in a succinct manor to all levels of the business

  • Maintain a culture of constant improvement

  • Ensure WF1 H&S policy and procedures are always adhered to

Qualifications and Experience Level:

  • Experience in building complex hydraulic components, with a background in F1 or aviation

  • A high degree of Computer literacy,ideally with experience of Atlas

  • Ideal candidate would be comfortable using Teamcenter PLM and CAD systems

  • Familiarity withLifingsystems

  • Experience with ERP & Manufacturing execution systems an advantage
