Mobile Electrical Engineer - Temp to Perm - Surrey / Berkshire
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing team covering Surrey and Berkshire on a temp to perm basis.
This role offers the chance to secure a long-term permanent position following an initial contract period, working across a portfolio of commercial sites.
The Role
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites, ensuring all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
- Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and associated plant
- Maintain systems including:
- Lighting and emergency lighting
- Power distribution and LV systems
- Control panels and basic BMS interface
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Complete job reports and update CAFM systems
- Liaise with clients and provide a high level of customer service
Requirements
- Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- Experience within building services / facilities maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
