Overview
As part of a dedicated heath-tech team, the Engineering Project Lead will take a senior role in the leadership of complex multidisciplinary engineering projects for medical devices and surgical applications. These products will interlace software, hardware, electronics and industrial design to deliver best-in-class innovations to the market.
Responsibilities
- Lead full product development from prototyping to manufacture for medical devices and surgical applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert for medical device projects and apply processes within a regulated environment.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to enable efficient and timely product delivery.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics or similar, with demonstrable project experience in the medical device sector.
- Extensive experience as a project lead on the development of class II medical devices (including prototyping and scaled manufacture); experience with ISO 13485.
- Strong technical understanding and breadth across multiple engineering and scientific areas.
- Strong people skills with experience in multi-stakeholder collaborations.
- Prior experience in a medical device-focused technology consultancy is highly desirable.
Additional Information
Role is full-time at offices with some international travel. Relocation expenses are available for qualifying candidates. Applicants must have full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK.
