Geotechnical Engineer - Bristol

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of geotechnical engineers and geologists in their Bristol office. If you are looking to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, we would love to hear from you. You will contribute to a wide range of projects, including renewable energy, commercial developments, and civil infrastructure, providing technical expertise in ground investigation and geotechnical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Interpret site investigation data (boreholes, trial pits, CPTs) and develop ground models.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, design recommendations, and risk assessments.
- Support senior engineers in project planning and client liaison.
- Assist with site supervision and fieldwork across diverse project types.
Qualifications
- BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology.
- Experience or interest in geotechnical engineering and ground investigation.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Full UK driving license desirable.
- Live within a commutable distance from the Bristol office.
