What we do

We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. In order to achieve this, we have 4 core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative. These are at the heart of everything we do.

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: RAF Croughton & RAF Barford St Johns

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with on call, 1 in 4 weeks maximum

Salary: Up to £41,000 dependent on experience and qualifications

About the role

As our Electrician, your primary responsibilities will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to reactive callouts, completing compliance testing to JSP375 standards, and delivering minor installation works on commercial buildings. You'll work hands‑on using a digital tablet to log detailed reports and ensure accurate documentation. The role also includes participation in an out of hours callout rota and occasional use of company vehicles to support mobility between sites.

What you'll need

This position requires you to have City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification. You should also hold the 2391 Testing & Inspection certification and have proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair in a commercial environment. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will regularly interact with clients and internal teams. It is essential you have knowledge of health and safety and a qualification to show this.

While previous Authorised Person (AP) or Authorising Engineer (AE) experience is advantageous, it's not essential. Knowledge of fixed wire inspections, PASMA, and IPAF certifications would be beneficial.

We're looking for someone proactive, safety‑conscious, and passionate about delivering top‑tier service. You'll be a visible part of a team that supports the UK's defence infrastructure, so professionalism and reliability are key.
