Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault‑find on fire alarm systems (conventional and addressable)
- Carry out small works installations, upgrades and system modifications
- Complete remedial works identified during servicing
- Ensure all works comply with relevant British Standards and industry regulations
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Liaise with clients on‑site and provide technical advice where required
- Support security system works where required (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms)
- Participate in call‑out rota where applicable
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Good knowledge of BS 5839 and relevant fire industry standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
Desirable (Advantageous)
- Experience with security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control)
- FIA qualifications or equivalent
- Experience with a variety of manufacturer panels
