Field Service Engineer
Location: Manchester
Term: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Attributes
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a servicing role
- Understanding of auto-electrics and some mechanical skills
- Background working with CNC machinery
- Experience servicing, maintaining and testing CNC machinery
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible with working hours Monday‑Friday
- Team player who is passionate about work
- Willing to travel on a field basis approximately 80% of the time
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Traveling to customer sites to deliver and service machinery
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair
- Training customers on how to use their machinery
- Electrical servicing with some mechanical elements
- Approximately 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
- Developing strong relationships with customers
