Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team, supporting engineering R&D projects with a wide range of development testing activities. This role involves close collaboration with small technical teams and the creation and modification of technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supporting in‑house engineering R&D teams with various tasks such as:
  • Laboratory and development testing: design, set‑up and operation of both mechanical and electronic testing, including development of testing apparatus and procedures.
  • Data collection and processing using Excel (essential) and Python (desirable).
  • Reporting test results to the team.
  • Proactively devising new tests based on results already obtained.

Essential Skills

• Engineering verification and validation
• Data collection using Excel
• Understanding of apparatus such as oscilloscopes and data loggers
• Workshop skills – basic power tools and hand tools
• Experience working in an engineering environment and familiarity with creating test documentation, including plans and results reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic 3D CAD skills
• Python for data processing (desirable)
• Experience with Arduino or Raspberry Pi
