About the Role
Join a growing team as an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer and work across wastewater treatment projects in the South East. You’ll be responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and supporting both site-based and emergency repairs. This role provides great variety, hands‑on work, and opportunities to develop both electrical and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Lead installation and commissioning of wastewater assets (pumps, blowers, control panels).
- Maintenance & Support: Perform planned/reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics, and repairs.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Reporting: Keep accurate records, report progress, and assist in continuous improvement.
Key Equipment
- Pumps, blowers, control panels, chemical dosing systems, and more.
Skills & Qualifications
- HNC/HND/Degree or NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical: 18th Edition qualification.
- CSCS Card holder.
- Experience in the wastewater industry.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Desirable: Confined Space, National Water Hygiene, SSSTS, Emergency First Aid.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 40 hours per week (1-hour lunch)
24/7 on-call rota
