South of England

Purpose of Role
Technical Sales Engineer is a field-based role to cover (Area) of England and offers a unique opportunity to become a key member of a new, dynamic and goal-oriented team growing the Key Accounts in some of the largest Sand & Aggregate market worth over 10m of business a year with the potential to contribute to the growth of the current defined territories

Key Responsibilities
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- The ability to grow bottom‑up business with new customers with a proactive approach to selling.
- Represent Weir in front of the customer while offering technical guidance & product demonstrations.
- Problem solving and optimisation on our customer’s plants.
- Maintain the CRM system for opportunities and sales pipeline.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
- Proven Track record in External technical Sales Role.
- Engineering Qualification or experience in the application‑based sales:
- Have a good working knowledge of the key related industries including sand and gravel, Mineral processing, industrial applications and solution selling.
- Proven Track record in External technical Sales Role.
Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship, have a full UK driving licence and fluent in English.
