Product Engineer (£110K – £200K + Equity) at Incident.io – Series B AI incident response platform
Incident.io is a Series B AI incident response platform backed by Index Ventures.
Job Description
Join the leading incident management platform used by 1,500+ companies like Netflix and Airbnb. As a Product Engineer, you will own the full product lifecycle, from customer research to shipping high-impact features. Working with Go and React, you will build tools that help thousands of engineers manage critical incidents with confidence and speed.
Why this role is remarkable
- Significant autonomy and ownership: you won't just follow specs; you will identify customer problems, make strategic trade-offs, and ship daily to a highly technical audience.
- High‑growth trajectory: join a fast‑scaling Series B startup that has raised $100M from top‑tier investors like Index Ventures and Insight Partners while expanding its global footprint.
- Exceptional engineering culture: founded by ex‑Monzo engineers, the team prioritises pragmatism, quality and shipping magic experiences for fellow engineers who have all felt the pain of being paged at 3am.
What you will do
- Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and translate complex needs into elegant, high‑impact technical solutions.
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of features, from initial planning and design to implementation, testing and delivery using Go and TypeScript.
- Pragmatically manage technical debt and system resilience to maintain high shipping velocity while ensuring the platform remains reliable for critical incident response.
The ideal candidate
- Proven track record of building production‑ready applications using Go, Python or React, ideally within a high‑growth or founding engineer environment.
- Deeply product‑minded and customer‑obsessed, with a preference for iterating quickly on MVPs and sharing work‑in‑progress to gather early feedback.
- Strong collaborator who thrives in ambiguity and values clear communication, from well‑written technical proposals to thorough documentation and testing practices.
