Field Service Engineer - Inspection Systems (Food & Beverage)
We are working with a leading manufacturer of high-speed inspection and quality control systems used across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Location: Central England (Manchester across to Hull down to M4 corridor)
Salary: £44,000 basic | OTE £55,000+ (overtime) | Company vehicle
The Role
- Service, maintenance, and installation of inspection systems (vision, X‑ray, fill level, leak detection)
- Electrical fault finding on high-speed production and packaging equipment
- PPM and breakdown support across customer sites
- Customer‑facing role within manufacturing environments
Requirements
- Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering (essential)
- Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on training
- Strong interest in fault finding and developing technical skills
- Any experience in food, beverage, packaging, or pharma beneficial
