Electrical Engineer

Proactive Personnel Wolverhampton is looking for an Electrical Engineer on a temp-to-perm basis for our client in Willenhall, Wolverhampton.

Length of Assignment: 12 weeks, with the possibility to transition into a permanent role.

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues to component level and rework PCBs with through-hole and surface-mount components using hot air rework tools and soldering irons.
• Apply computer literacy and read schematic drawings.
• Use multimeters, test software, and other test equipment for programming and testing of PCBs.
• Serve as a key member of the Quality team, taking direction from the quality manager.
• Oversee quality metrics and continuous improvement projects, addressing customer non-conformances, internal audits, and other quality-related activities.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is required.
