Role Description

Laplace Solutions is seeking multiple Systems Engineers (BMS) to join our Glasgow office, working within the Laplace Building Solutions North team.

This is a site-based role, supporting service, commissioning, and system optimisation across live client environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commissioning and servicing BMS systems across multiple sites
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on live building systems
  • Modifying and optimising control strategies
  • Integrating BMS with third-party systems
  • Supporting project delivery and attending client sites as required
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with company and industry standards

Technical Requirements

We are particularly interested in engineers with experience in:

  • Siemens BMS systems (Desigo, PX, ABT) – essential
  • Trend Controls (IQ / IQ5 / SET / 963)
  • Tridium / Niagara
  • Schneider Electric systems

About You

  • Strong experience working with BMS in live environments
  • Confident fault finding and commissioning systems independently
  • Good understanding of HVAC plant and control strategies
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Professional and client-facing on site
