Job Overview
The client, a well‑established manufacturer of material handling equipment, is seeking an experienced CNC Production Engineer to join their team in Tamworth. The successful candidate will operate CNC mills & lathes and convert CAD drawings into CAM files ready for production.
Responsibilities
- Convert CAD drawings to CAM files for production
- Set up and run CNC mills & lathes for small batch production
- Quality check parts
- Organise the supply of materials for production
- Arrange tools and tooling supplies
- Assist with build and assembly processes
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with CNC machining (both milling and turning)
- Experience creating CAD/CAM files
- Good organisational skills and willingness to work as part of a small team
- Based in a commutable distance of Tamworth
Remuneration
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000, depending on experienceWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30Full‑time, permanent positionCompany pension and holiday allowance
