Already working in Fibre Installations but perhaps looking for a role in a company that values training, development and a work life balance. A permanent PAYE role with a stable, secure company?

A starting salary of £28,000 to £32,000 dependent upon fibre experience and current qualifications / accreditations, e.g. PIA Underground and Overhead H&S and Fibre Installations?

Reporting to the Operations Manager and Senior Technician on a day-to-day basis, the Field Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in the customer installation. Works will include traditional (civils / buried) and PIA PON underground and overhead.

Customer Engineering involves 2 specific sets of duties and responsibilities and Engineers will be trained on all areas to become fully competent engineers:

Pre-enablement works include surveying and checking line of site from pole to house, ensuring fibre access from terminal point at house boundary to property and resolution of minor faults to ensure a smooth final installation.

Final installation works, running fibre from final distribution point (UG or OH) to end customer premises and all internal install works.

Engineers will provide a first-class customer service, ensuring management of any customer complaints, working to resolve any issues in a timely manner.

Health and Safety is our top priority and Engineers are responsible for their own and teams’ assurance across Health & Safety, whilst ensuring allocated schedules of works are delivered on time and to quality standards.

You will ideally bring previous fibre installation experience or will be working in Telecoms and looking for a company that will invest and upskill you on fibre.
