Graduate Manufacturing Engineer – Fareham
We are working on behalf of a well‑established and growing engineering organisation based in Fareham to recruit a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate looking to launch their career within a supportive, forward‑thinking manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production and continuous improvement activities. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across manufacturing processes, working closely with design, quality, and production teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting in the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives (lean, waste reduction, efficiency gains)
- Creating and maintaining work instructions and technical documentation
- Investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve product quality and throughput
- Supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities
About You
We are looking for a motivated and proactive graduate with a strong interest in manufacturing and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing principles (lean knowledge is a plus)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
